It is Oriental Mindoro's asset as it is blessed with one of the world’s most beautiful natural harbors. In fact, it was named as 2005's Most Beautiful Bay. It is world-famous for splendid beaches, coral reefs, and exquisite dive sites for new and experienced divers alike. Among the famous beaches are Sabang Beach for foreigners and White Beach for the locals.
Puerto Galera is only three and a half hours away from Manila, first by bus to the port at Batangas City and then by boat/ferry.

Arrived at Batangas and boarded our boat, along with a few other people, and set off on our 1hr journey to the island of Mindoro. On route we watched some dolphins jumping high out of the water - beautiful. Jumped off onto...
