Pubs in "Grønnland"

There is a area of Oslo where the beer prices are a little bit more resonable than the Main street Karl Johan. Just go past the Trainstation in the oposite directions as Karl Johan. Walk past the large hotell (radisson SAS) and over the river. It should take around 5minutes from the Train station. Just walk down that street ( Grønlandsleiret ) and you will find all this Bars.

Downtown:
Most times there is alot of empty seets in downtown and its easy to get a little bit lonley if you are going out to meet people. The coaches and chairs are very comfortable.
Verdict: Cheap beer , no athmosphere

Stargate:
Normally there is more people at stargate next door. This is a normal place where young norwegians go early in the evening to get the alcohol up to acceptable levels. A sure thing very close to the train station.
Verdict: Cheep beer, popular student hangout, good place

Olympen

A very relaxed place with candles at the tables! Comfortable chairs. Not so many good looking girls (at least when ive been there). A little bit older crowd.
Verdict: Comfy Seating , cheap beer, mature people.

You can also find Choice bar,but ive never been here. Expect much of the same.

Lets face it. This is not the place to go to pull a girl, but to warm up early in the evening. Offcourse , everything is possible.
