The public transportation is the most awesome and very reliable. You can get anywhere and everywhere in the city.
Primarily you will find the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) and the GO Train/Bus. They all seem to connect to each other. The TTC has buses that run from each subway terminal. Hope this helps you.
