Public Transportation in Jauja
Public Transportation in Jauja Reviews
Public Transportation in Jauja Nov 21, 2009
Public Transportation in Jauja is very cheap. City is small, so you might not need it unless you want to go to the surroundings like the trout farm.
Inside the city the best way to move around are the mototaxis. They are cheap and good enough for small distances.
Taxi or Colectivo if you are going a bit further away. Also you can take them for going from Jauja to Huancayo.
There are plenty of buses going to Huancayo. These are medium size and are good enough. Do not expect big comfort, but the ride is less than 1 hour long. There are 2 routes: Izquierda (left) and Derecha (right). This refers if the bus arrives to Huancayo from the right side or the left one, hahaha.
Again: always have change with you.
Part of the Taking the 2nd highest train in the world, but first "The Killers" concert, yeah! travel blog
