Prowincja Reviews

Nov 02, 2007
This tiny cafe appear to be one of a kind, unique place in Kraków. It is not difficult to find the local because it is situated in the middle of the most popular café-street. Prowincja is always full of people. Why? Because of the atmosphere inside. You can sit beside the window and stare at Bracka street, choose sofa next to the old piano where the smell of coffee is the most intensive or go upstairs, to the small part of café where you can sit beside small table. It is really charming place. As for me just beautiful and magic place, which I imagine when I am thinking about real, Kraków’s café. And, as somebody says, you can try there the best hot chocolate. It is just nice to drink one of a tea, aromatized, from a big cup, chosen from a huge basket where you have a few dozen of them and read one of newspapers available in the local, look at the black and white photos in old-fashion frames hanging on the walls. You can eat there a breakfast, work with your laptop, sit there even all day, come here alone, with girl/boyfriend or with friends and every option is perfect. The café is famous for a delicious apple pie, homemade by owners. And don’t forget, when you’ll be leaving Prowincja, take a theatre’s repertoire with you, you’ll find it by the doors. Or, if you prefer one of an original postcards. And throw a tip into small jar. Trust me, you understand why after order and conversation with the service.

Hot chocolate – 6,50 zł, coffee 5,50 – 12 zł, tea 4 zł, delicious apple pie – 5 zł.

Others: small garden from spring to autumn, two levels inside, press, piano (also for guests), accept credit cards, adapted for disabled.
