Provincial Museum, Teruel
Provincial Museum, Teruel Reviews
A splendid museum Mar 08, 2005
The Provincial Museum of Teruel is in a very striking building that was previously (16th century) the Casa de la Comunidad (Seat of the Council) and yet further back a palace. To me it is terribly unsung. Every website I can find is either pathetically short or written by me!
The very bottom of the building has the old stables and there are four floors above that. I was particularly impressed by the collections from the Iberian Period (6th -4th centuries BCE), perhaps because they were quite unknown to me previously.
On the 4thfloor get the guide to let you out onto the arcaded balcony, where you can take a fine picture of the cathedra through the arcades.
