Finally in Ecuador!! Our adventure begins after a very long and uncomfortable journey, we made it! We crossed the border VERY early this morning - 6 am and immediately landed a ride to the next nearby town of Tulcán. Not too much to see here besides the amazing landscape . . . Incredible! So far, what we've seen of it, reminds us a lot of the landscape in Southern France. It's very green and breathtaking. The folks here are also very kind so far, and actually a bit reserved. ...

Dank des Ecuadorianischen Botschafters in Berlin, der Katha ihr Voluntaers-Visum verweigerte musste sie Ecuador verlassen und ich hatte die Ehre inne, ihre Reisebegleiterin spielen zu duerfen :) Also machten wir uns am 1.Dezember 2007 auf in unser Abenteuer! 17 Tage lang reisten wir durch dieses wundervolle Land, 17 Tage voller Busfahrten (aneinander gerechnet 4 1/2 Tage), voller Militaerkontrollen, Achsenbruechen, toller Museen, der Karibik und den wunderschoensten Anden!
