We took a Carnival Cruise in late Oct, 2006. Progresso was great, we drove dune buggies all though downtown and out to the beach. Very relaxing and not too "touristy".

The Uxmal ruins were amazing. I really loved snorkeling and shopping in Cozumel. The cruise itself was alright. I'm not much for being trapped on a big boat.

We took a Cruise on Carnival Holiday that left from Mobile, Alabama and visited Progreso and Cozumel. We took a shore excursion in Progreso to see Mayan ruins at Dzibilchaltun and then went to Playa Mia Beach in Cozumel.
