Private tours in Vietnam Reviews
Apr 01, 2007
Prior to visiting Vietnam we had checked out the cost of booking day trips and excursions to tourist attractions, through Australian travel agencies, however didn't end up booking through any of them because of the high prices. When we arrived in Vietnam, we found that all of the hotels we stayed at had travel desks where we were able to arrange tours at very reasonable prices (Mekong Delta, My Son World Heritage site, Halong Bay and Dalat). The added bonus was that rather than being on a cramped bus with 30 - 40 tourists and a structured itinerary, the tours we booked were private and considerably cheaper than the group tours available through Australian travel agents. The private tours also gave us the flexibility to add some extra stops along the way - thoroughly recommend it!
