Princess cruise Fort Lauderdale Reviews
Eastern Caribbean Oct 11, 2014
We left Ft. Lauderdale for a Caribbean cruise. We are frequent cruisers with Princess so we get through BS proceedures and quickly we get on ship to visit our stateroom. We drop off luggage and proceed to the buffet lunch. Then we go to Custimer Service (used to be called Pursers Desk) and they get a hole punched in our ship card. Then we can put card in a lanyard so we are hands free. On board everything we need is through the ship card so the employees dont have to handle cash.
The most important person is our cabin boy (who we tip) who tends to our stateroom 3 times a day keeping up everything we need especially in the bathroom. He also takes care of anything that comes up when we dont know who to call.
Of course we visit a lot of wonderful island nations, but I wrote reviews on them so I wont repeat here.
There is plenty to do on board including a library, game room, large rum parties set to reggae music, swimming, hot tubs, Broadway shows, and old fashened goofing off on the top deck.
