Prince of Wales
Prince of Wales Rosehall Reviews
A British rest hole Apr 28, 2011
Entering the Half Moon Shopping Village was like landing on the moon after having driven the small roads and undeveloped parts of the Cockpit Mountains. The shopping area was a classic copy of an American design mall in Orlando. It was all nice and pretty but it was not Jamaica; it was as far away as one can imagine from the real thing.
The Prince of Wales was the only place where you could get a bite for lunch amongst the empty clothing shops. It was as the name almost gives away an English pub and restaurant looking like a picture friendly environment from a furniture magazine.
We sat outside and looked at the menu and I decided for a Caesars salad with chicken together with my first draft Red Stripe on the island. The food was great but it was also the first time that I a really small portion on the trip. I could easily have managed two portions of this size
If you are a resort person you will find it nice I guess; to me it was too boring and nice
