I did this trip with Trek America Tours. It was two tours back to back. Such a great journey with awesome people and great guides. Would highly recommend it.

I flew down to Portland Oregon to pick up my new truck (old, but new to me). My friend Kert went with me for I would have help driving, plus he'd never been to Alaska. It was a win-win situation!

Staying at the Ramada hotel (I think I could keep them in business, on this trip). City centre is a nightmare with one-way streets, three/four-ways all over the place.
