Preservation Hall New Orleans Reviews
The long line outside Pat O'briens is not for the bar Apr 01, 2013
Preservation Hall is a unique musical experience in the capital of Jazz! It is right next to the famous Pat O'brien's bar on St. Peter Street. Admission was fifteen dollars when I went. The building itself is painted in history and each concert is a distinct, intimate experience. Wear comfortable shoes because you have to line up to get in but the music is more than worth it.
That being said, there are several other jazz clubs on Frenchmen Street that I visited but did not recall their name. You are guaranteed to find good live band on Frenchmen Street through the night that you do not need to line up to see.
