We got up early in the morning since the bus to Preikestolenhytta (where the climb to the rock starts) should leave the campground at 8.30 a.m. - so did I think. Was in Norway for a week. Took a ferry across to hike the Pulpit (Preikestolen) Rock & surrounding areas. Stayed at the beautiful & comfortable Preikestolhytta Hostel. Unfortunately a bit unlucky with the weather. Couldn't take any photos on 1st day while trekking around the lake as I was soaked through. Woke up next day at 6.30am to beat the crowds & clouds. The view was stupendous when I made it! Waking up early was worth it.
