Pratunam Market Bangkok Reviews
The Cheapest Market in Bangkok Jul 31, 2015
Pratunam Market, covering the whole area around and behind the Amari Watergate and the Indra Regent hotels, is considered as one of the major markets in Bangkok.
For most people, it is the cheapest market in Thailand as it houses retail stores and outdoor stalls. This is a low cost shopping center for tourists. You can bargain mostly everything around the area. Be mindful with some business owners as they tend to be pissed easily when asking for a lower price.
Pratunam also houses street foods and fruit stalls where I enjoyed a freshly squeezed juice. The vendor advised me to drink the juice right after it is made because having it after few minutes will taste bad and it might oxidize.
The next time I visit Pratunam, I will surely go there with empty bags and go home with full of bags. Cool, right? Right.
