Praia do Forte Vacation Guide
Praia do Forte is becoming an increasingly popular eco-resort town in the state of Bahia. It is about an hour and a half drive from Salvador and easy to get to by bus or car. The main attraction is the Tamar Project, a sea turtle reserve which is like an outdoor aquarium. Here, you can view sea turtles and other marine life and learn more about them. Other popular activities are jungle treks and snorkeling. "The Vila" is a street that doesn't allow cars and it's lined with many restaurants and upscale boutiques.
