Welcome to "the Capital City of Praha." Situated on the River Vltava in central Bohemia, Prague is the political, cultural and economic center of the Czech Republic.
Home to 1.2 million people, Prague is clearly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and the world. Since 1992, historic Prague has been on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
Christmas time is Prague is incredible - words cannot do it justice. A visit here should be on the short list for any serious traveler!

I love Praha! I am not even sure why at times but there is something about walking around the Old Town which is magical. Spending time walking from Wencelas square and down to Charles Bridge evokes such joy and energy. Maybe it is the people you encounter or the architecture. …

We hadn't planned to hitchhike to Vienna, but it was afternoon before we realized the train there would arrive the next morning -- making a 9 hour stop in God Knows Where. I've been hitchhiking since 14, and Atousa's generally down for anything that sounds dangerous, so all we had to do w…

After some lucky weather the day before, Monday in Prague saw the heavens open to provide us with some interesting challenges to our sightseeing schedule. Despite the dreary weather, however, Shea and I (not quite as hungover as the others) headed out early to see the Natioanle Nenderlanden buildin…
