 Agency offering great choice of affordable hotels/apartments Feb 23, 2008
I was looking for an apartment for a week in Prague, and I found this agency on the Internet.
In February, they had particularly great offers : I got an apartment of 45 squared meters with bathroom (with bath), toilets, kitchen, air conditioning, heating, floor heating in bathroom and toilets, large screen with DVD player, ... and it was in the second most central place of the town (Malostranske Namesti, in front of church St Nicholas of Mala Strana). All kind of shops around, 2minutes walking from Charles Bridge, 10minutes walking from the castle, in front of a tram stop... : perfect location ! I only reserved it two weeks before arriving, and I only paid 30 euros per night ! In Prague, the agency is ruled by young friendly people who will give you many tips when you go and take the keys. So if you're lucky enough and search well, you may find great opportunities of accomodation with this agency.  Part of the Prague - February 2008 travel blog

This was my second adventure to the great city of Prague, and my buddies first. I figured the first weekend in Europe might turn into a bit of a drunkfest so why not enjoy Pivos for C$0.35!!! We stayed at what I think is a pretty decent …holidays are in the UK to avoid peak periods like we did. Overall the night life was pretty amazing, you just need to try to avoid the various stag parties.
I would not recommend doing a walking tour since it seems as though… Prague - Let the gong show begin... |

Wow! we have made it to this holiday already. Yesterday we taught our second group lesson. We had the upper intermediate class. They were very good and it was nice to teach them, because they actually responded to prompts. A bunch of us hung ou…holiday already. Yesterday we taught our second group lesson. After a loooong layover in Heathrow, I finally arrived in Prague... Instead of following the directions to the hostel provided to me which was too tired to figure out, I decided to take the taxi to the hostel... It wasn't difficult find…holidays... It is also the meeting point for Prague walking tours, the tour leaders you can easily spot, they are holding a green or yellow umbrella. Walking through the streets you hear people mumbling, "walk faster I can barely see the lady with… Beautiful City of Prague |

Prague…ah Prague…”sigh”…My word. Whether to write a journal entry for or a love letter to this fabulous city? Ok, I’ll spare you the latter, but it’s a pretty darned special place. I can see why latterly my parents so much …holiday after all!
Following a breakfast chat with a pleasant Sri-Lankan doctor in the peculiar bunker-like breakfast basement of the Chili Hostel I head out riverwards. The sun still sleeps, snug and warm beneath it’s vast blanket of comforting cotton… Prague : A feast for the eyes and heart. |

I'm excited and nervous to be going travelling again. I really can't afford it - by the time I get back in December I would have been on holiday for almost 6 months in 2006!!
It's mad, especially since I can't budget and have already blown US1…holiday for almost 6 months in 2006!!
