Staying at Pousada Barra Vento is a kind of adventurous accommodation. It is located just in the middle of a river going to the ocean.
You need to take a boat just when leaving the house door (cost you only 1R). You even can go to the beach via the river with the boat. The house is very good and have a good environment. The breakfast is OK served by the friendly staff (a couple). WiFi is available all over the house freely. It has what you need in Rio plus a cozy and comfortable accommodation. Note that it is located in the new neighborhood of Barra. It is good place with great beach, but it is different from Copacabana or Ipanema. Read more about the neighborhood first. |
