Positano beach Reviews
Pretty views, short visit adequate May 05, 2011
Postcard perfect, overly touristy, overly hyped, expensive and glamorous are just some of the words I would attribute to the beach at Positano. The small town is located on the Amalfi Coast and is incredibly famous. The views getting there are excellent and the shops nearby the beach are quite expensive with souvenir treats and very large lemons!
The beach is a great place to relax. There are two beaches; one for free with the fishing boats and near the many boats which set sail for Capri. The other one is further down and I think you need to pay a fee to use this one - needless to say the sun worshippers here will find themselves to be a cut above the rest.
The beach is great for a stroll or a half day visit, and affords wonderful views. After you’re done, buy a souvenir and move on!
