Porvoo Vacation Guide
The small town of Porvoo is situated just 50 kilometers from Helsinki. It has been a popular tourist destination for many centuries, attracting people with its location and beauty. I travelled to Helsinki to play australian football for Finland against England. I then got to enjoy 4 of the best days of my life in an absolute paradise. I cannot rate this trip highly enough. A thoroughly beautiful country. Fantastic people, unbelievable scenery and everything so clean, fresh, relaxed and modern.

Some 45 kms from Helsinki there's a little town called Borgå (Porvoo in Finnish), which I absolutely adore! Especially in summer time it's so much fun to be there - it's not big at all, but the old tree houses and narrow streets are lovely! There's some great restaurants, and especially pay a visit to Brunberg - a chocolate factory that have some of Finland's best chocolates and liquorices! :P
