Portuguese Island Reviews
Not my number 1 travel destination Feb 13, 2015
So I spent a day on this island as part of a cruise trip to Mozambique. The cruise company had set up excursions on the island and had set up lunch etc. If you take away those organized things to do, the island is completely empty. There are no buildings, no roads, no mud huts, no foot paths, no people. Mozambiquan locals at times go and do their fishing there.
To circle the island along the beach takes about 2 hours. There is a lagoon about just under half way.
To access the island your best bet would be via small fishing boat from Inhaca Island, a small village island about 10min away.
Overall, i personally wouldnt recommend this island to anyone. Not much to really see and do.
