Portofino is a resort for the rich and famous. Portofino is a , half-moon shaped seaside village with pastel houses that line the shore of the harbor. Portofino has many high end designer shops, restaurants, cafes, and luxury hotels.
A castle sits atop the hill overlooking the village. Not only can you go boating, you can also hike and dive at this little seaside town.
Portofino sits on the Tigullio Gulf. Portofino is part of the Italian Riviera. Santa Margherita is approximately 5km away - a slight trek if you choose to walk (no sidewalks) or a comfortable ride by bus.
