Australia June of 2005: Port Macquarie Travel Photos

I was in AUS for only one week at the end of June 2005. There, I managed to visit 3 cities which were Sydney, Newcastle, and Port Macquarie. In Sydney, I got an inside tour of the Opera House, climbed the Harbour Bridge, and went on a 2 hour cruise around the bays of Port Jackson. In Newcastle, I only walked around the city. In Port Macquire, I biked for 4 hours around the beach, rode a camel in the beach and walked around the beautiful city, and went to the zoo!

8 July 2005   The Ozzie Pozzie Hostel in Port Macquarie is a beautiful little place to stay with a nice backyard framed by palm trees and small cottages arranged in a circle around it. After checking in and checking out the hammocks I immediately start my discovery tour of the city. I feel like on a holiday • only nicer. The tiny harbour is sweet, the sky high and the horizon infinite. Walking along the coast I stop at several lookouts and beaches to cool my feet. I’m walking and …

I have to say, I love German girls. I spoke to three extremely gorgeous German girls last night. One on her own, Sara, who was living and working in the hostel, and Julia and Collette, two girls who had met on a traveling companions website and had arrived that day. Not only were all three amazingly beautiful, they were extremely charming, spoke English better than most English people and seemed to really enjoy talking to me (from what I could see). Mental note: find more German girls. I have…

Its Family time :-)

My auntie Kath cracks me up, she’s got a great sense of humour.  When I told her I was happy to cook this week she said ‘you do realise I’m on a diet’ I said ‘yeah and what’s that?’  and she replied ‘it’s a seafood diet… as soon as I see-food I have to eat it!’  :-)   I stayed with my auntie for a week in Port Macquarie and had the chance to catch up with some good old family gossip.  I hadn’t seen her in years, yet we felt very comfortable i…
