Port Clinton - an interesting city on the shores of Lake Erie. The Jet Express provides ferry service from Port Clinton to South Bass and Middle Bass Islands. This is the fastest way to Put-In-Bay. Want to take your vehicle or loads of camping equipment across to South Bass? Just outside Port Clinton is a ferry designed for vehicle crossing.

With lots to do in the summer months, try watching "Wallie the Walleye" - a giant fish - drop on New Years' Eve! Ice fishing, weather permitting, is a popular sport during the cold winter months.

Several major highways lead to Port Clinton. Convenient access from the Ohio Turnpike, State Route 2 and State Route 53 link Port Clinton to Toledo and Cleveland. Need a local airport, the Ottawa-Erie County Regional airport is just two miles east of town.
