The Great Ocean Road is one of the most spectacular drives in the world. The start of the Great Ocean road in an hour and a half drive South/West of Melbourne Australia.

Australia II! How I love this place. We drove down the coast Hwy A1 from Sydney via Melbourne to Adelaide. What a great tour!

One year on the long and bumpy road of South and Central America. Our second year started off with 12 weeks in New Zealand. Then we headed to Australia! Eagerly clutching our working holiday visas we are set to stay in Australia for one year to work and travel!

Only a few kilometres after we left Mount Gambier we got to the South Australia-Victoria border. We weren’t doing a huge amount of kilometres today as we were driving along the Great Ocean Road and we wanted to take our time. Merry Christmas all! Doing the the Great Ocean Road in a day from Melbourne is a bit of a challenge due to the distance involved. So if you don;t mind being on a bus for 14 hours its possible, in fact it was a great tour and i was glad I did the Great ocean Road instead of going to Phillip Island to see the penguins. I really liked the coast line of Victoria its touristy but not in the OTT way the Gold Coast is. 

We enjoy our last leg of travelling on our own before we meet civilisation (a friends house on the great ocean road). The boys enjoy the short walks and look outs
