My American friend Eric has been already a couple of times in Bratislav, but this time he wanted to see more of the country. We rent a car then and travelled around for 3 days showing Eric the less famous sights of Europe.

Tento je o cestovaní a obálkou sa nápadne podobá na jeden veľmi známy, taký ten so žltým rámčekom. A tam bol článok o živote v pobaltí.Nedalo mi to a prebehol som web a povedal si: "No čo, ve…

Je nedeľa, desať hodín ráno. Prechádzame okolo Liptovskej Mary a pred nami sa vynára panoráma Vysokých Tatier. O pár kilometrov ďalej s Bacilom svorne skonštatujeme - všade dobre, doma najlepšie a najkrajšie. Po poljedenástej Nora opúšťa aj Bacil a náš výlet je úspešne na konci.

The holiday started with a boat trip from Vienna to Bratislava. In the following week, we travelled by train to Zilina, Kosice, Trencin and eventually back to Bratislava. Besides these cities, we also visited Devin Castle, the Mala Fatra Mountains, Spissky Castle, Trnava and Levoca. Overall, the weather was quite reasonable

October 2006: Our journey began in Bratislava. The cosmopolitan city has a lot of things to see. Beautiful, old and restored buildings but also very poor areas. After some nights in an old student hostel, we travelled by train to Poprad. It´s a perfect area for trecking, mountain climbing or just enjoying the amazing landscape.
