Popeye's lodge

I was looking for accommodation near the Calangute beach when I found this great lodge very close to the Calangute beach. It is literally a five minute walk away from the beach in a rather quiet location behind the Calangute bus stand.

It is bang opposite the large open free parking lot so if you have a car (like I did), there is loads of space to park.

The owners were friendly and helpful, we got a room for Rs 600 a night and it had comfortable double bed, a t.v., large clean bathroom with hot water.
