Pony Copenhagen Reviews
Good Food at reasonable price Dec 17, 2013
This is the newest restaurant in Copenhagen with an award winning in 2013 toward similar small restaurants in town, and owned by the same Michelin restaurant Kadeau.
Location is pretty good, at the busy area of Vesterbrogade and easy to find.
The restaurant itself is very small and only able to accommodate 33 seats with tables and seats close to each other, so not much privacy here – you can see and hear what your neighbor do or say.
When we were there early in the evening, we were the first customer as we come early that night instead of our reservation. Anyhow, the staff are friendly and we get seat straightaway and given the menu and ask for a drink.
We choose their special menu with special price of DKK450 per person for 4 courses meal exclusive drinks. We cannot choose their dishes, as it was design specially. However,
since I do not eat beef, I can changed their special menu with fish without extra charge.
After we settle in, they serve a warm bread which we really appreciate since it is very cold in Copenhagen and the home bake bread was delicious.
Most of the dishes was delicious, unfortunately after the restaurant getting full house, it appears the staff getting a wee bit overwhelm (since there were only 2 staffs carrying the food), and I though they forgot to bring our dessert as we were waited for quite a while and by the time I almost ready to leave the restaurant.
Anyway, this restaurant is quite nice with delicious food at reasonable price.
