"El Pony" is the best place to go in Montevidéo if you're looking for a typical dish and wants to try los chivitos. Price is cheap and all of Pony are very well located in the city. Clean, beautiful, nice atmosphere, everything!

This bar is located at the Bartolome Mitre St right in the Old City "Ciudad Vieja" and although you can find a couple of turist this is a place for locals where you can can experience real local nighlife. Live music most days during the summer which runs from December through February.
