Ponti’s Birmingham Reviews
All about airport food Jul 03, 2008
Ponti’s in the departure lounge area at Birmingham International Airport is a typical airport food stand; I think it will stretch the use of term restaurant. We had been in Coventry the whole morning and spent 2 ½ hour in Birmingham before we were heading back to Brussels again. Birmingham had been a little of a disappointment for us all because we had expected something more out of the architecture. The best thing we had found was a bar.
We were hungry and at Ponti’s we found something eatable and something that could be served fast. I ordered a Pollo Caesar that cost 5,55 pound, while the others went for the Penne Napoli. The food was okay and it fulfilled its purpose.
