We drove out to Ponder just to go to the Wildcatter Steak House. Ponder, TX is a small town w/ a population of 500. It's about 11 miles west of Denton, TX. Ponder is the home to the world famous (as seen on the Food Channel) Ranchman's Cafe. Ranchman's Cafe is a small hole-in-the-wall steak house. They also make their own lye soap, you'll get a free bar with your first visit. Don't forget you must call ahead and reserve your baked potato. Check out their website www.ranchman.com
