Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse

With a brick foundation 12 feet deep and 45 feet wide, the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse soars 175 feet and is the tallest lighthouse in Florida and one of the tallest in the nation. The tower is 32 feet in diamete at it's base and tapers to 12 feet at the top. The bick walls are eight feet thick at the bottom and two feet thick at the top. Buying our boat!

We'd spent many months (years!) talking about retirement plans, sailing possibilities, and thinking of the boat that would meet our needs and wants. Axel went to Florida in October of 2007 to look at several boats that we had been checking out on the web. We'd really liked the photos and info on this boat, and he really liked it in person.
