Pomona is located in Los Angeles County and offers an interesting mixture of history and diversity. The city borders Claremont, La Verne, Ontario, Chino and Diamond Bar. At one point, the city was well known for its thriving downtown district. After several years where the quality of life began to decrease, the city began to rebound and build up that luster that it had once achieved. The city currently has a growing downtown district that is becoming well known for its artsy shops and music venues. The city has many things to offer, including Cal Poly Pomona, the Fairplex, downtown district and many beautiful areas of residential housing.
