Polis Camping Site - Reviews - Polis

Ok first of all let me tell you that camping is "illegal" in Cyprus unless you are in a camping site.

Anyhow there are several camping sites on the island but the most visited one would have to be Polis. Polis Camping Site is actually on the beach (sorry not sand) however people usually set up their tents under the eucalyptus trees. Have a look at the pictures to get a better idea.The rates for the Cyprus camping sites range between: CYP1,00 - 1,50 per day, for a tent or caravan space, plus CYP1,00-1,50 per person per day.

Facilities available in camping sites include: showers, toilets, washing facilities, beach volley court and a snack-bar or restaurant. Usually you are going to find a blend between us locals and tourists around the ages of 18-25 here as well as (rarely) some families. Don't expect to get any peace and quiet during the days around the 15th of August.
