Too many to name. I've had so many great experiences--coupled with not so great ones--on family trips that I couldn't possibly narrow it down to one.
Profile
In order to experience the world around you, you have to want to be able to absorb yourself completely in it. When I first got to Europe, I tried to blend in by putting in my headphones and dissolving myself into my own little world. I realize now that that is the wrong way to go about traveling. Unplug. Listen to the sounds around you. Try to dissect the words being spoken in an alien language to see if they might resemble anything that you can associate with. Live life, don't hide from it.

This is going to be a companion to a written journal. Spending time abroad and traveling is something that should be archived, if not for aesthetic value, at least for nostalgic purposes. I don't know who will be reading this, but I hope that the few who do will enjoy it.
