Postcards I have received from around the world... a work in progress because this is my new (and addicting) hobby! I love sending/receiving postcards from my TB friends...and I've even gotten my family into sending me postcards too! :)

Tam spedze kolejny dzien na nerwowym przetrzasaniu kolejnych zakamarkow w poszukiwaniu ostatnich drobiazgow i desperackim pakowaniu sie na ostatnia chwile.

I have decided to do a travel blog that records my travels in a general way, over time. And then if I happen to go anywhere particularly interesting I'll write individual logs...we'll see how it works...

We hadn’t initially planned on going to Poland but decided to make the effort.  We only had a few days up our sleeves and our next stop was going to be Vienna so we stuck to the south of the country, driving from Berlin through Wroclaw.  We discovered that this was a fairly typical Polish city – i.e. concrete Communist Era apartment buildings next to old fashioned buildings, cobbled streets and the occasional steel and glass shopping mall or office building for good measu…

This is my Bog Blog! Call them whatever you like: dunnies, pissers, gravy bowls, pissoirs, porcelain caves, potties, loos, crappers, dumpers, shitters, outhouses, throne, bogs, longdrops, WC's. As much as we dont want to think about it, even good looking girls have to crap every day! The vast array of toilets in the world have fascinated me for a long time. This blog will be continuously updated as long as I continue to travel the world and wake up needing to hang a dump.

I'm just horrible when I have to pack my things..I just don't like it. Almost evry time I leave my comb and toothbrush at home. So I was very happy that i get this... http://upl.codeq.info/ I don't know if this makes my life easier but I can try :-)

This was my first true travelling experience and i blame this experience for my addiction to travelling!

Woken up at 7:00 am by some loud alarms, so typical of a ferry to have people ready to leave as soon as they arrive.  Was very tired... 3 hours of sleep just doesn't cut, particularly since I had to drive the whole day through one of the more difficult countries for driving.  My first views of the port were very cool; the three cities of Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot all make up some large ports.  The Gdynia port was impressive.  When the boat docked we went down to the car an…
