Poison Tree Frogs in Bali! Aug 23, 2011
If you see one of these guys, although they are very cute, it's best to keep your distance. You can find them often living around houses that are in proximity to nature places. Although I have not seen the act, but apparently they have some way of spraying poison that can damage your vision. It's their natural defense against predators like snakes and cats. Generally they are very chilled out and relaxed, but if they feel you are threatening them, watch out! Just watch for the ones that can jump really far, have big bug eyes and long thin legs, and usually are found on a wall in a crevice or the roof of your villa but can also be next to a small pool of water or just hopping around in general. They usually come out at night but do hide nearby during the day.
