Today is my last day in the United States for the next 6 months! So crazy. I can't believe I'm getting ready to head to the airport in about an hour. I definitely have a mixture of emotions right now....I am definitely excited for my adventure - but I'm nervous as well. He tells the stories of his small village St-Élie-de-Caxton and some of its 1500 citizen. He his very funny and brings an interesting outlook upon our modern societies.  He will start a story saying: Once upon on a time when people still had time...    

OMG.. this morning was awesome. I got up early and got the sunrise and the colors were so beautiful. It colored the landscape and the mountains in a ray of golden orange and yellow. Getting to the Odyssey Hostel from the bus station in Taormina is quite a hike. I worked up a good sweat with my large pack, on a sunny day in the middle of May; can't imagine how nasty it would be in the HOT SUMMER! The hostel is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Only drawback to this is you have a bit of a walk to get back into town. The 'Let's Go' guide book lists "breakfast included" but it's not.
