Today is my last day in the United States for the next 6 months! So crazy. I can't believe I'm getting ready to head to the airport in about an hour. I definitely have a mixture of emotions right now....I am definitely excited for my adventure - but I'm nervous as well. I know it's going to be amazing - it's just so interesting to be going into something and to have NO IDEA what is going to happen. I thought this was good enough. :o)) I went downstairs to have breakfast at around 7.30-ish and looked around at the decorations etc. It hit me that this Hampton Inn was different than the others. This…

Getting to the Odyssey Hostel from the bus station in Taormina is quite a hike. I worked up a good sweat with my large pack, on a sunny day in the middle of May; can't imagine how nasty it would be in the HOT SUMMER! The hostel is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Only drawback to this is you have a bit of a walk to get back into town. The 'Let's Go' guide book lists "breakfast included" but it's not. Wasn't too upset over this since not many guide books are updated on a yearl…
