I rented a car for the weekend with Christina coming into town. On Saturday, we decided we would either go to Napa or Point Reyes. We elected to goto Point Reyes, the reasoning being that to truly experience Napa, you need to drink wine and this left us with the rationale that only one person would…

We were all pretty sore and tired when we woke up at Glen Camp, but we still had over 8 miles to go. We packed up all our stuff and headed out of the forest and back toward the Coast trail. After a mile or so, we came out of the forest and into green meadows high over the ocean. The trail descended…

I thought I owe it to myself to do a blog of where I live since I live in my beautiful city by the bay, San Francisco, and all the wonderful places that are close by. My boyfriend was in town visiting me over the holidays, so I did my best playing tour guide. I tend to take it for granted that I live in such a great place. Hopefully, these pictures will always be a reminder of just how lucky I am to live here.

I went with my boyfriend Adam to visit Point Reyes, my first time in a few years, his first time ever. We planned on finding a place to camp out on our own or check out the youth hostel off Limantour Road, but it was all booked and campers were prohibited from camping without a license. Nonetheless…

There are hundreds of steps but worth the walk. There are also trails along the area. I have not hiked any of them but will in the near future.
It is a very gorgeous view.
Once you arrive at the lighthouse you are able to walk around it.

3500+ miles driving. 80+ miles hiking.
Mucho mucho AT&T airtime...LOL
So many places, that looking back I can't even believe they were all on just the one trip!
This year the trip started in Mammoth, then off to Yosemite NP, SF, Lassen NP, Roseburg OR, Crater Lake NP, Columbia Gorge, Portland, Rainier NP, Olympic NP, Seattle, down the coast of Oregon, thru Redwood NP, down the coast of California, Point Reyes, Santa Cruz, Big Sur, Morro, Pismo, Santa Barbara...& probably some other places!

When in San Francisco make sure to get to Point Reyes National Seashore. Seemingly hudreds of miles of undeveloped Northern coastal California.

Sometimes the detours in life can be the most exciting. In this case that held true. Vegas strip at 3am with no luggage and a 9 hour drive ahead lead to some great memories and a breathtaking sunrise over the desert.
