Irish Pub in Queenstown Feb 06, 2005
Pog Mahone's Irish Pub is everything you would expect in a great Irish Pub. Guiness on tap, fire in the fireplace, great Irish stew, rugby matches on the big screen, and a great wait staff all with Irish brogues.

Pog Mahone's is right in the midst of Queenstown, with a great view of the lake. The Irish stew is not to be missed -- tender lamb, a glob of mashed potatoes in the middle, with barley and vegetables. Served with warm fresh Irish soda bread, it's heavenly. They have a great beef and Guiness pie as well with a flakey puff pastry shell.

I'm told that Pog Mahone means "kiss my a**" in Gaellic. I'll leave that to those who speak the tongue of mother Eire to confirm or deny!
