Podgorica is the capital and largest city of Republic of Montenegro. Most of the city was destroyed during World War II, so Podgorica is relatively new. During its long history it survived great events and impacts. The name of the town has been changed several times: from Birziminijum and Alata in the slavery system, pre feudal – Ribnica, to feudal Podgorica. At the year 1946 it took the name of Josip Broz Tito, president of SFRJ, and got the name Titograd. In 1992 Titograd once again was renamed into Podgorica, the name which it has today.
The climate is Mediterranean; summers are dry, long and extremely warm, and the winters are mild, with often rainfalls.

Beograd, Serbia -› Obrenovac, Serbia -› ...
I spent the first 4 days in Belgrade by myself and then met up with my cousin. After that my trip was prety much hijacked by relatives, lol. Most of my time was spent in Belgrade (saw the rolling stones), Novi Sad (went to Exit festival), Podgorica and Hervceg Novi (ok it didn't suck having a cousin who lived in a coastal city of Montenegro).
The picture was of me waiting in Budva as my uncles car had broken down....
