Pod Vezi Prague Reviews
Pleasant lunch in Prague Sep 15, 2010
After walking several hours around Prague and crossing the Charles Bridge, I noticed this place with a fixed price menu in the window. Thats what I ordered:
Green Salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, and yellow peppers, veal schnitzel with fries, and strudel for dessert, along with a large glass of beer.
Price for the menu was 245 Kc, but they add 20 Kc for some bread and butter (unasked for) and 10% service. The total bill was 374 Kc. The food was very tasty, and the portion of veal and fried quite large. Service was fairly prompt, and the servers spoke fluent English. Give such a touristy area, I thought that the value proposition was quite good.
Low volume 60s-70s soft rock was played through the sound system (Beatles, Dylan, etc.)
There is a covered open air terrace to the side and front, but I ate inside as it was raining lightly.
