Today the sun came out and then it totally cleared to reveal a super sunset near Hohenheim Castle near Stuttgart-Plieningen, Germany. The kids were all outside sledding with their families and a nearby stream provided claming sounds. The vineyards for the Hohenheim Winery by the castle with tree-lined walkways was fascinating!

During 10-12 December 2008, Stuttgart received over 17 inches (22 centimeters) of snow. Since the ground temps were above freezing, most of it melted and it did not stick to the streets--but it did stick to the trees, making a beautiful scene all around us. It was also excellent conditions for snowballs and snowmen!
