Plaza Italia Reviews

Plaza Italia is a cute bed and breakfast in Mendoza. There are so many options to choose from when picking housing in this town in the middle of wine country. I am so very glad that my family and I chose to stay at Plaza Italia. Never have I ever felt more welcomed and comortable in any place that wasn't my own home. The bed and breakfast is set up with most of the rooms on the second floor with only two rooms on the bottom floor. There was a nice mix of age ranges and martial status (in fact there were two single women, two couples and then my family of 6). We were greeted with the most fantastic breakfast (putting the toast and jam standard to shame): fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh cheese/meat, little pastries and coffee/tea. The staff went above and beyond normal exptectations, even planning and leading tours for us of the wine country and of the Andies. Taking Javier's wine tours are definitely a must because he is so knowledgable and well connected. The location is great because you are in walking distance of all the major restaurants and city sites. Oh! And there is a wonderful kiosko around the corner!
