Platano Loco Restaurant

The Platano Loco (Crazy Plantain) is Restaurant located in the city of Aguada, Puerto Rico. Aguada is located on the West Coast of the island. The Platano Loco Restaurant specializes in food made by plantains. You can have almost every dish that you can image just made with plantain. It serves plantain sandwiches. Along with plantain dumpling soup, plantain pizza, plantain parmesan, plantain burgers and spaghetti with a plantain sauce. Like any regular sandwich you decide what type of ingredients or type of sandwich (EXAMPLE: Cuban) and instead of bread it’s served with delicious flat smash plantains. I recommend the Platano Empanado; it’s similar to a baked potato but has a different twist in taste. The Platano Empanado is covered with well seasoned meat that makes it more delicious. For desert I had the Plantain Flan and I was amazingly shocked with pleasure. And the prices are cheap.
