Seeing as i been living in Hamburg for the past year and i go to this park at least once a week, it seems fitting that i tell others about how wonderful it is.

And the best part is, that there is no entrance fee.

The Planten un Blomen is a huge park (47 hectares) in the middle of Hamburg.

The name means plants and flowers.

In summertime it is the place to be, there are water light concerts, a public theatre, and music performances.

As well inside the park are several beautiful flower gardens - rose garden, japanese garden etc.

There is huge playground for children and those of us who haven't grown up and there are some cafes/ice cream stores.

The best U-bahn stops to get there are stephansplatz and damntor.

Have fun everybody =)

Pretty to walk through in center of Hamburg Germany. TV tower. Light/water show. Fond memories. Nice to get away from the city while in the city... technically. ;)
