Plant City Vacation Guide
Plant City is a large town in eastern Hillsborough County, Florida, between Brandon and Lakeland along Interstate 4. It is located at 28°0′51″N, 82°7′44″W (28.014250, -82.128864) and had a population of over 30,000 in 2004.
Plant City is known as the winter strawberry capital of the world, and hosts the annual Florida Strawberry Festival in the late winter, around late February or early March. The festival features a range of big name artists (mostly country musicians), large-scale carnival rides, food, shops, pig races, farm animal viewing, and, of course, strawberry shortcake.

Downtown Plant City is filled with local restaurants, stores, and antique shops and has a small town Florida charm to it.
