Planet Café Budapest Reviews
Delicious food Oct 18, 2012
After the whole day of exploring Budapest, it was time to find a nice restaurant. Unexpectedly, I noticed Planet Café on the main pedestrian and shopping street of the city, Váci Utca. It looked pleasant and inviting and wasn't busy with tourists at all. After a quick look at the menu, I decided to dine here.
As the evening was warm, I sat at the outside table. I was quickly approached by a waiter who offered a drink and helped me to choose a traditional Hungarian dish.
I ordered beef goulash with pepper sauce and cream with home made noodles and Hungarian beer. The food was delicious, meat cooked soft and noodles just the right consistency.
The entire meal cost me about £12, which was surprisingly cheap for the city busiest street.
I would recommend this restaurant as a great place to enjoy good food at reasonable prices.
