The heart of Barcelona Sep 17, 2009
At first I didn't bother to write about this square because it is noting of a must see, but on the other hand it is so big, so inevitable and such a landmark for Barcelona, that it would be wrong not to write about it.

Plaça de Catalunya is the big square in the heart of Barcelona, where all traffic comes together. Metros, buses, cars, taxis,... everything passes through here. So if you're visiting Barca, there's a big chance you will to :)

The upper part of the Rambla is on the South side of the square. The big Ronda de la Universitat is on the upper left corner, and famous Passeig the Gracia and Rambla Catalunya start from the upper right. On the square itself there are shops and bars, yet I have never spend much time there so I can't give much info on those. There is an El Corte Ingles shop on the square as well.

Not bad, but you forgot a few things deary:
- "Barca" is not correct, use "Barna" or "BCN"
- You forgot: ciutat vella or Barri Gotic, lots of fashion shops and also lots of monuments is the ancient city
-A pic
